<Tree of Life> is a work by artist Kim Yeong-chul, which is installed on the street tree in the morning of Gyeonghuigung Palace. Like comparing a person to a tree, it reminds us of the undeniable gestures of life, even in our difficult lives. The artist explained the planning intention by saying, “The bark of a roadside tree looks peeling like the flesh of human skin. However, before the flesh healed, it was peeling and peeling, so now it seems that it is proper to remove the bone. Just as people are compared to trees, trees remind us of the gestures of life that we cannot refuse even in our difficult lives.” People are life and life is people. Love will be there somewhere. Looking at a tree, it would be nice to whisper the meaning of people, life, and love to the tree. After perforating the steel plate, it was painted and installed.
